Bishkek, July 23, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov and his son received on Friday their first shots of vaccine against coronavirus infection.
The president and his son were vaccinated in one of the mobile vaccination centers in the capital, his press service said.

Sadyr Zhaparov was given a vaccination passport.
He addressed citizens saying that the decision to get the vaccine is a personal matter for each person, no one has the right to force anyone to be immunized.
The president emphasized that Kyrgyzstan purchased 1.1 million doses of the Chinese vaccine Sinopharm at the expense of the budget. Earlier, Chinese authorities donated a total of 300 thousand doses of the vaccine to Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, a batch of 120,000 doses of the vaccine was purchased from Russia, and 10,000 doses were donated.
Zhaparov added that an additional batch of Sinopharm vaccine in the amount of 1,250,000 doses will be purchased in the near future.
In this regard, he appealed to Kyrgyzstanis not to believe rumors and various unreliable information spread among the population.
The Kyrgyz leader once again urged citizens to receive the vaccine to protect the health of their loved ones and society as a whole.
