Bishkek, Oct. 25, 2023. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received on Tuesday Prime Minister of Mongolia Luvsannamsrein Oyun-Erdene, who arrived in the country for a working visit.
The sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, including in trade and economic sphere.
Welcoming the guest, the Kyrgyz leader noted that he warmly recalls his visit to Mongolia and the meeting with President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, during which agreements were reached on a wide range of issues of bilateral relations.
Sadyr Zhaparov conveyed words of greetings to the Mongolian leader and added that he is looking forward to his return state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.
The president stressed that modern Kyrgyz-Mongolian relations are characterized by mutual trust and understanding. The parties provide mutual support on every key issue. Meanwhile, the potential of the Kyrgyz-Mongolian relations is only beginning to unfold. There is need to make the necessary joint efforts for their qualitative and substantial filling for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized the intensification of joint efforts in the field of trade and economic cooperation. Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia face the task of attracting foreign investment. The Kyrgyz side will benefit from Mongolia's experience in attracting investment in mining and agriculture. Kyrgyzstan welcomes the participation of Mongolian enterprises and representatives of business circles to do business and implement joint projects in our country.
In turn, Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene thanked Zhaparov for hospitality and conveyed warm words of greetings from President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.
The Mongolian prime minister expressed interest in further establishment of bilateral and multilateral relations, including in trade and economic and transportation and logistics sectors.
During the conversation, he also supported the initiative of the Kyrgyz side to join the intergovernmental agreement between China, Russia and Mongolia on the development of international automobile communication.
In conclusion, the sides agreed to continue strengthening practical cooperation.
