President Zhaparov receives Uzbek FM Vladimir Norov

Bishkek, Nov. 3, 2022. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov, who arrived in the country for an official visit.

An exchange of views took place on the further development of comprehensive Kyrgyz-Uzbek cooperation, the implementation of joint projects in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other areas of mutual interest.

The head of state, noting that Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations are dynamically developing in the spirit of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership, expressed the intention of the Kyrgyz side to further expand and deepen cooperation between the two countries based on common historical heritage, culture, linguistic, spiritual traditions and values.

Sadyr Zhaparov conveyed greetings and best wishes to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

In turn, Vladimir Norov expressed gratitude to Sadyr Zhaparov for the meeting and also conveyed warm words of greeting on behalf of the leader of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

He informed that political consultations on all issues of bilateral cooperation were held at the ministerial level of the two countries.

In particular, the forthcoming state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan, its organizational and content parts and other issues were discussed.

At the meeting, it was noted that the agreement on the state border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan meets the interests of both countries.
