Bishkek, May 15, 2022 . / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov congratulates Kyrgyzstanis on Mother's Day, his press service said Sunday.
"I extend my sincere congratulations to you on the wonderful holiday - Mother's Day!
This holiday is not just a tribute of deep respect and love for you, but also a recognition of your great contribution to the welfare of the family and the development of society," Zhaparov said.
He added that for centuries Kyrgyz people have been honoring the sacred image of the Mother and surrounded her with love and care, and the measure of humanity and justice in any society and state is first and foremost the attitude and attention to women.
The president added that to achieve this lofty goal, the country pays special attention to ensuring equal rights and equal opportunities for women, and conditions for their work, education, improvement of health and well-being of their families are being improved.
"In the near future, the Strategy on Gender Equality until 2030 will be adopted, where special attention will be paid to the issues of economic empowerment of women and their participation in political and public life of the country," the Kyrgyz leader noted.
