Tashkent, Oct. 24, 2021 / Kabar /. At 11:00 Tashkent time, 33.6% of voters voted in the presidential elections in Uzbekistan and the elections were declared valid, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Bahrom Kuchkarov said.
As of 11:00, 6 million 669 thousand 552 people, or 33.6% of registered voters (19 million 859 thousand 127), voted in the presidential elections in Uzbekistan at polling stations within the country.
“Thus, the current elections were recognized as valid, with which we congratulate all the participants in the electoral process,” Bahrom Kuchkarov said at a briefing in Tashkent.
According to the Electoral Code, an election is considered valid if at least 33% of voters take part in it.
