Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan had phone conversation

Bishkek, March 26, 2020 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani had a telephone conversation today.

The two leaders discussed pressing issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, the president’s press service said.

The sides expressed readiness for further cooperation in order to combat the spread of coronavirus infection in the region.

Sooronbay Jeenbekov also thanked Mohammad Ashraf Ghani for the support of initiatives to address the issues of ethnic Kyrgyz living in Pamirs.

The presidents expressed interest in further deepening bilateral cooperation.
