Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2023. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Summit in Bishkek, met with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The leaders of the countries discussed current issues of Kyrgyz-Tajik bilateral cooperation, a wide range of topics, including issues of delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.
They also exchanged views on the regional and international agenda and the upcoming meeting of the CIS Council of State Duma.
The heads of state emphasized the importance of continuing regular political dialogue to strengthen good neighborliness between the two countries and peoples, expressing their readiness for an open and thorough conversation in all areas of bilateral cooperation.
