Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye had telephone conversation

Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2023 / Kabar/. The head of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Zhaparov, had a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on February 7.

Sadyr Zhaparov once again, on behalf of the people of Kyrgyzstan and on his own behalf, expressed condolences to the Turkish people and its leader in connection with the numerous casualties as a result of earthquakes.

He wished patience to the families and friends of the victims, and a speedy recovery to the injured.

Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that in this difficult moment Kyrgyzstan is next to fraternal Turkiye and is ready to provide all possible support in the form of additional humanitarian assistance.

Earlier, on behalf of the head of state, a special group of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (rescuers, medical workers, psychologists and dog handlers) was sent to Turkiye.

Sadyr Zhaparov, noting the heroic qualities of the Turkish people, expressed confidence that Turkey would confidently overcome these difficult times.

In turn, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed gratitude to Sadyr Zhaparov and the people of Kyrgyzstan for the words of support at a difficult moment.
