Presidents of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan discuss strengthening of strategic partnership

Bishkek, Oct. 5, 2021 . / Kabar / . President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, who is on an official visit in Uzbekistan, discussed with his Uzbek colleague Shavkat Mirziyoyev issues of strengthening of multilateral strategic partnership, ORIENT reported citing an official site of the head of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Mirziyoyev noted that each Turkmen-Uzbek summit – a historical and sign event, and all arrangements reached at negotiations are realised and serve the people of neighbouring countries.

Berdimuhamedov named Uzbekistan a close neighbour and strategic partner, and the purposes of both states are identical. Dynamical cooperation between the countries is reflected in the policy, trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, the Turkmen leader underlined.

Heads of the states discussed all spectrum of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation. The special attention was to the strengthening of constructive political dialogue, expansion of trade and economic and investment partnership, cultural-humanitarian links.
