Presidents sign a number of documents following SEEC meeting

Saint Petersburg, Dec. 6, 2018. /Kabar/. Following the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in St. Petersburg, a decision was made on an interim agreement leading to the formation of a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on the one hand, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the other hand, of May 17, 2018.

As well as the Decision on the entry into force of the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on the one hand, and the People’s Republic of China, on the other hand, of May 17, 2018.

Following the meeting, decisions were made:

1. On the formation of common markets for oil and petroleum products of the Eurasian Economic Union.

2. On the main directions of the international activities of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2019.

3. On the implementation of the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of May 8, 2015 No. 13.

4. On the annual report of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the state of competition in cross-border markets and measures taken to stop violations of the general rules of competition for 2017.

5. On development of cooperation of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union in provision of space and geo-information services based on national sources of Earth remote sensing data.

6. On the results of the external audit (control) in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2017. On the report on the budget performance of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2017. On the budget of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2019.

7. On approval of the amount of the fee paid by business entities when applying to the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union.

8. On the medal for contribution to the development of the Eurasian Economic Union.

9. On the chairmanship in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union.

10. It was decided to hold the next regular meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in May 2019 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

11. Declaration on the development of Eurasian economic cooperation.
