Bishkek, June 28 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev met with Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan for official visit.
Atambayev said that he is pleased with every meeting with guests from Russia, because these meetings are really with friends.
"I am glad that visits from Russia to Kyrgyzstan have become frequent. I told Vladimir Putin in Moscow that one of my achievements as the President for almost 6 years was that we were able to raise the relations of Kyrgyzstan and Russia to a new level. Today this is a fraternal and friendly relationship. It is the relationship of two strategic allies and partners. I hope that such relations will only be strengthened," the head of state said.
In turn, Volodin said that today they already had a meeting with Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh and deputies.
"We agreed to come out as soon as possible on a concrete result in building up our relations. Thank you for what you are doing to strengthen the friendship between Russia and Kyrgyzstan. And first of all, the task of the parliaments of Russia and Kyrgyzstan to do so is to provide legislative support for the decisions that are made at the highest level by Vladimir Putin and you, Almazbek Sharshenovich, "he said.
