Prices for fuels and lubricants continue to rise in Kyrgyzstan: statistics

The results of the daily monitoring of consumer prices of fuels and lubricants showed that the average prices of gasoline AI-92 in the republic made KGS 47.94 ($0.56) and diesel fuel prices made KGS 44.15 (0.52), the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s National Statistics Committee reported Friday.

The monitoring was conducted by the Statistics Committee in 18 settlements of the republic and showed that the prices of gasoline AI-92 increased by 9.2% compared to the average retail price for March this year, while diesel fuel prices increased by almost 6%.

According to the monitoring, above the national average retail prices for gasoline AI-92 were registered in Batken (KGS 51.22 KGS), Isfana (KGS 50.91 per liter), Kara-Suu and Nookat (KGS 48). The lowest prices were recorded in Naryn (KGS 46.40 per liter), Balykchy (KGS 46.70 per liter).

Along with this, retail prices for diesel fuel exceeded the national average in Isfana (KGS 47.83 per liter), Batken (KGS 47.60 per liter), Kerben (KGS 44.75 per liter), and the lowest prices were observed in Tokmok town (KGS 42.45 per liter), Karakol (KGS 42.56 per liter) and Naryn (KGS 42.60 per liter).
