Prices for fuels and lubricants rise by 11.5% in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 15, 2021 . / Kabar / . As of March 11, 2021, the national average price of gasoline AI-92 amounted to KGS 42.63 ($0.50), the National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan said on Monday.

According to the report, prices went up by 11.5% compared to the same date in this February, while diesel fuel prices stood at KGS 40.87 and increased by 7.2%.

Meanwhile, retail prices of gasoline AI-92 in Batken town (Batken Oblast) were higher than the national average - KGS 47.12 per liter, and the lowest prices were recorded in Kara-Balta town (Chui Oblast) – KGS 40.83 per liter.

Along with this, highest retail prices for dieselfuel were observed in Batken town of Batken Oblast – KGS 46.10 per liter, and the lowest - in Naryn town – KGS 38.40 per liter.

As of March 11, 2021, the maximum increase in prices for diesel fuel in comparison with the previous month was observed in the towns of Kara-Balta - 12.8 percent, Batken - 12.5 percent and Pokrovka village - 11.3 percent.
