Prime Minister Isakov dreams to see Bishkek one of the brightest cities in the world

Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2018. / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov spoke today at an expanded meeting of the collegium of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office, which reviews the results for 2017 and plans for 2018.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of this event and expressed his thoughts on the policy pursued by the Bishkek Mayor’s Office.

"The mood of the country is formed today in its capital, because almost a million citizens live in the capital. This is very much. In recent years there has been an active urbanization: many people move from regions to the capital and build a new life," Isakov said.

Further he shared his dream, to turn the city of Bishkek into one of the brightest capitals in the world.

"I dream of living in such a capital, where it will be pleasant to walk, where everything is green and where there is a pleasant infrastructure," the head of the Cabinet said.

He said that he was in many cities of the world, which are unusual for their originality and expressed the hope that Bishkek will soon surpass them all.

Isakov stressed that today active measures are being taken in this direction. For this he thanked Mayor of the city Albek Ibraimov and called on all to support his work.

"Soon we will organize the monthly action named "Taza zhashoo” (Clean life): we will improve everything that lies badly. I, as a prime minister, want to lead this action so that in the minds of the population there is a desire to clean and make public order," he added.

In addition, the Prime Minister emphasized the Smart City project.

At the end of his speech, he wished the participants of the meeting success in the implementation of the tasks.
