Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2018. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov, as part of his participation in the 6th World Summit of Governments, got acquainted with the work of the Burjeel clinic in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
The Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported that, head of VPS Health Care Dr. Shamshir Vayalil showed the main departments of the clinic, which are equipped with the most modern technological equipment.
In the course of getting acquainted with the activities of the radiology department, Isakov noted that the construction of an oncological hospital is being completed in Bishkek and at this stage there is a question of the delivery of equipment, including a linear accelerator.
"At the same time, the work is underway to reconstruct the department of pediatric oncology, which is a very important project for us," Isakov said.
Dr. Shamshir Vayalil expressed interest in implementing investment projects in Kyrgyzstan.
The sides also discussed prospects for cooperation and exchanged experience in the field of medicine, as well as digital services. At the end of the meeting, the Kyrgyz Prime Minister invited the representatives of the clinic to visit Kyrgyzstan for a fact-finding visit.
