Prime Minister makes changes to national strategy and national plan of Kyrgyzstan on achieving gender equality by 2020

Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2018. /Kabar/. Prime Minister Muhammedkalyi Abylgaziev signed the Government Decree of November 19, 2018 No. 537 amending the Decree on the National Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic on Achieving Gender Equality by 2020 and the National Action Plan on Achieving Gender Equality in the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 27, 2012 No. 443.

According to the document, for the purposes of effective implementation of the state policy on achieving gender equality in the Kyrgyz Republic, in accordance with Articles 10 and 17 of the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has decided to:

1. To make the following changes to the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on the National Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic on Achieving Gender Equality by 2020 and the National Action Plan on Achieving Gender Equality in the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 27, 2012 No. 443

- in paragraph 1:

to recognize invalid the fifth sub-paragraph;

add sixth sub-paragraph to reads:

“-The National Action Plan on Achieving Gender Equality in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2018-2020 (hereinafter - the National Action Plan) according to Annex 6.”;

- to recognize invalid Annex 5 to the above decision;

- to supplement with to Annex 6 as amended according to the annex to this resolution.

2. This resolution becomes effective after ten days after the date of official publication.
