Prime Minister nominates Chyngyz Aidarbekov to post of Foreign Minister

Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2018. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkaliy Abylgaziyev submitted Chyngyz Aidarbekov’s candidature to the post of foreign minister for the consideration of the Jogorku Kenesh.

During his speech in the Parliament, he noted that the Foreign Ministry is an important agency for Kyrgyzstan and for the country's foreign policy.

“The foreign minister is the face of the state abroad. Chyngyz Aidarbekov worked in the foreign ministry system for 20 years, besides he was the head of international cooperation department of Jogorku Kenesh for 4 years,” he said.

The head of government noted that he chose Chyngyz Adarbekov’s candidacy because after his appointment as ambassador to Japan, the relationship between the two countries strengthened.

“The activity of the Japanese agency JIKA in Kyrgyzstan has improved. In addition, members of the Japanese Parliament , top level guests visited Kyrgyzstan. This all happened during the period of work of Chyngyz Azamatovich as Ambassador to Japan,” said Abylgaziyev.

Aidarbekov Chyngyz Azamatovich has been working as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan since Apr. 2016.
