Cholpon-Ata, Sept. 08, 2018. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev declared the Third World Nomad Games officially closed.
Handing over the totem of the Game – kookor vessel, filled with glacier water, to Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports of Turkey Hamza Yerlikaya, he warmly welcomed the guests of the ceremony and highlighted the importance of the Games.
“Participants and guests of the Games sincerely had said that regardless of ethnicity, religious affiliation, social background the people’s hopes and commitment to shared human values, humanism, freedom, and spiritual development become know at such international events as this one. We are sincerely pleased that the World Nomad Games have become a connecting link between people of different ethnicities and religious denominations. Another important point is that the guests and participants of the Games eagerly learned more about other cultures. We are confident that they will take with them memorable and vivid impressions and emotions about our Kyrgyzstan to their homeland”, Abylgaziev said.
He noted that the Nomad Games had become a powerful ideological impetus for social and economic and spiritual development of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the unity of the Kyrgyz society.
“The Kyrgyz nation has gone through many challenges on its historical way to development. Despite that, it has maintained such high qualities as tolerance and magnanimity. These qualities of our nation were demonstrated during the Games. Now, the next Fourth World Nomad Games will take place in Turkey. This country has a rich culture and an eventful centuries-long historical background. We wish our Turkish friends to successfully hold the Fourth World Nomad Games”, the Prime Minister said speaking at the closing ceremony.
Abylgaziev expressed the words of welcome and gratitude in three languages: Kyrgyz, Russian, and English. On behalf of the country’s government and the entire Kyrgyz nation, he wished all the participants and guests of the Games good health, success, and all the best. Afterwards, he declared the III WNG officially closed.
