Prime ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan held bilateral meeting in Dushanbe

Dushanbe, Oct. 11, 2018. / Kabar /. A bilateral meeting of Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaliy Abylgaziyev and Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzad has been held in Dushanbe.

Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Zhenish Razakov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in Tajikistan Miroslav Niyazov, Minister of Economy Oleg Pankratov and Head of the International Cooperation Office of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Aidarbekov also attended the meeting as part of the Kyrgyz delegation.

“I want to note that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to relations between the two countries. In 2018, the heads of our states met three times, including an official visit, a meeting in the city of Qingdao in China and a recent visit to Tajikistan,” said the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Speaking about trade and economic relations, Abylgaziyev noted that statistics show, in comparison with the figures of 6 months of last year, the trade turnover has doubled.

In turn, Kohir Rasulzada said he was glad to see a delegation from Kyrgyzstan and discuss some issues on the fields of the SCO.

Abylgaziyev has arrived today in Dushanbe to attend a meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Governments.
