Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan discuss border incident by phone

Bishkek, Apr. 8, 2018. / Kabar /. Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov and Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov held a phone conversation, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government reported.

The two prime ministers discussed the incident that occurred yesterday, April 7, on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border, which caused the death of a Kyrgyz citizen.

The sides agreed that on Monday, April 9, heads of border services of the two countries and other relevant departments will meet on Monday, Apr. 9.

The joint working group will conduct a thorough investigation of the incident and report on the results in the near future.
