Product quality standards raise in EAEU countries discussed in Bishkek

Bishkek, Feb. 21, 2019. /Kabar/. An expert discussion took place in Bishkek on the topic: “Improving Product Quality Standards is the Key to Successful Economic Development of the EAEU States”.

The event was attended by deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament), representatives of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Embassy of Belarus in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as political scientists and economists.

The discussion had been traditionally organized by the Eurasians - New Wave Foundation.

At the event, analysis of the functioning of phytosanitary and veterinary laboratories in Kyrgyzstan, the willingness of business in Kyrgyzstan to move to new standards (including international ISO 22000) quality and technology, quality standards of the EAEU as the basis for increasing exports of goods from Kyrgyzstan to the EU, China, the Middle East were discussed.
