Production of meat, milk and eggs increased in Kyrgyzstan

The press service of the Agriculture Ministry of the republic said that for 6 months economic entities of all categories in the country produced 95.8 thousand tons of meat, which is 563 tons or 0.6% more than the corresponding period last year.

The increase in meat production in the republic is due to the growth of livestock of farm animals.

In addition, for January-March 2024, 2882.8 thousand tons of milk were produced in the republic, which is 5408 tons or 1.9% more than the same period last year.

For the reporting period, 147 thousand 872 hen eggs were produced, which is 13 thousand 478 more, or amounted to 110.0% of the corresponding period last year.

In recent years, egg production has increased annually in all regions of the republic.
