Production of paper cups increased in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 14, 2024. /Kabar/. The production of paper cups has increased in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund reported.

The fund provided financing to Eco Cap LLC - the only domestic company producing such products.

The company has been operating since 2012, and every year the volume of orders grew, which required additional equipment for production. The fund allocated funds to the enterprise in 2022 and 2023. Thanks to the support, the company doubled its paper cup production.

“If 12 years ago Kyrgyzstan completely imported these products, now we can meet the needs of our enterprises, including through our own production,” the Fund said.

In 2024, the RKDF plans to allocate $15 million for the program to support small and medium-sized businesses.
