Products of One Village One Product Project are sold in 700 major shopping centers in Europe

Osh, Dec. 20, 2018. /Kabar/. Osh Vice Mayor Nurbek Kadyrov held a meeting with Chief Advisor of the One Village One Product Project Ogawa Masazumi.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Mayor's Office and the Agency for External Relations and Investment Attraction. As part of the discussion, the sides exchanged views on the results of this year’s work and plans for the development of bilateral cooperation for the new 2019 year.

Kadyrov noted that Osh Mayor's Office provides support and assistance in the implementation of projects for the development of entrepreneurship, including with the help of international organizations, and thanked for the contribution made by the people of Japan through JICA projects in Osh.

In turn, Ogawa Masazumi spoke about the implementation of the One Village One Product Project in the republic and in the south, and also presented the successful results of JICA's close work with entrepreneurs - samples of organic agricultural products produced with the support and information, advice of JICA in Osh and Osh oblast. He also noted that these products are quite actively exported to the countries of near and far abroad, including more than 700 major shopping centers in Europe.

The sides stressed that an increase in the number of organic products of agricultural producers and farmers should be a priority in further close work in supporting entrepreneurs, the development of economic and tourism infrastructure.

An opinion was also expressed on the creation of the Center for Entrepreneurship Service in Osh, which could provide assistance and support in the realization of their ideas and plans.
