Program for Development of Youth Policy for 2017-2020 signed in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2017 / Kabar /. The Program of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "Development of Youth Policy for 2017-2020" was approved. The corresponding decree of the Kyrgyz government was signed on Aug. 11, the press service of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Education and Sports reported.

The novelty of this program is the intersectoral approach to the development and implementation of youth policy with the coordinating role of the authorized state body in the field of youth policy - the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The program is the guiding document for all interested and involved groups. Its implementation should lead to a qualitatively new state of the youth sphere. The Program formulated a systematic approach of government bodies and their partners to the development of youth policy.

The program includes a vision of the future, goals, key priorities, objectives and key public policy measures aimed at developing the youth of Kyrgyzstan. Also, the creation by the end of 2020 of regulatory legal, infrastructural conditions, the public environment for the formation of a new generation of citizens who are responsible for sustainable development of the country and competitive in the political, economic, social and cultural spheres.

As a result of the implementation of the Program, results are expected to be achieved to create sustainable conditions and the necessary legal framework for the effective implementation of state youth policy and the development of the youth sector.
