Prosecutor General: 37,700 crimes registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2021

Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2022. / Kabar /. 37.7 thousand crimes were registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2021, General Prosecutor of the republic Kurmankul Zulushev said during a press conference in Bishkek on Wednesday.

Thus, 37,784 crimes were registered, 3,822 of them were grave and especially grave crimes. About 53% of the crimes were solved.

The prosecutor general also said that investigative actions were completed on 88,250 criminal cases, of which 78,911 were withdrawn, 8,680 were sent for trial, and 680 were terminated.

Courts remanded 74 criminal cases for re-investigation to eliminate gaps in the investigation.

"Damages in criminal cases amounted to KGS 4 billion 555 million, KGS 4 billion 277 million were compensated (93.8%)," Zulushev added.
