Prosecutor General of the Kyrgyz Republic Maksat Asanaliev held a bilateral meeting with Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev within the framework of the 22nd meeting of Prosecutors General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries and the Third Meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
During the meeting, the sides signed a cooperation agreement and cooperation program for 2025-2026.
The agreement and cooperation program are aimed at strengthening cooperation between the supervisory bodies of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan in the field of law and order and legality.
The documents include exchange of experience and information, holding joint events, as well as the implementation of projects aimed at improving the efficiency of prosecutorial activities.
Maksat Asanaliev noted that the signing of this cooperation agreement and program marks a new stage in our relations.
"It also demonstrates our common aspiration to strengthen law and order and protect the legitimate interests of our citizens," he said.
