Prospects for co-op between Central Asian countries and Republic of Korea debated in Seoul

Bishkek, July 1, 2021 . / Kabar /. The 9th meeting of the Executive Committee of the Secretariat of the Republic of Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum took place in Seoul.

The press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Ministry said that Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to South Korea Dinara Kemelov also took part in the meeting.

The Forum promotes cooperation between Central Asian countries and South Korea in transport and logistics, innovative industry, energy, agriculture, environmental protection, health and education and other areas.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation in the framework of the Forum, in particular, the Kyrgyz side proposed to implement projects on green economy (including green energy), regional development, railway and aviation infrastructure, smart farms and processing of agricultural products in the future.

The participants also exchanged views on holding the 14th Cooperation Forum at the ministerial level this year.
