Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2024. /Kabar/. On November 27, a meeting was held in Bishkek between Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Iskender Asylkulov and Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg Evgeny Kassyura.
The ministry reported that during the meeting, Iskender Asylkulov presented information on the priority areas of the economic policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, key achievements in the socio-economic development of the country, as well as on current aspects of cooperation with Russia.
Particular attention was paid to the prospects for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and St. Petersburg.
The deputy minister noted important investment projects in such sectors as energy, industry and others, emphasizing favorable conditions for foreign investors, including tax preferences.
The parties discussed ways to further develop bilateral relations, paying particular attention to strengthening cooperation in the trade and economic sphere and expanding cooperation in new areas.
The meeting ended with an expression of mutual readiness to continue fruitful cooperation and implement joint projects.
