Bishkek, Jan. 7, 2023 / Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Musa Jamanbaev met on Friday with acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
At the meeting, topical issues of Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations based on the principles of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership were discussed, the report said.
The course of implementation of the decisions taken following the results of meetings and negotiations between the leaders of the two countries was considered. Particular attention is paid to the promotion of joint projects in the field of industrial cooperation.
There was also an exchange of views on the organizational and substantive aspects of the planned events at the highest and high levels.
Bakhtiyor Saidov was appointed Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 30, 2022. Prior to that, he worked as the Minister of Public Education.
