Bishkek, June 7, 2023. / Kabar /. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan Musa Jamanbaev at a meeting with Director of the Pharmaceutical Network Development Agency of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Egamov discussed the establishment of cooperation between pharmaceutical institutions and companies of the two countries, the press service of Uzpharmagency told.
The sides identified priorities for further development of cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main attention was paid to the mutual increase in the volume and expansion of the range of pharmaceutical products produced in two countries.
According to official data, as of January 1, 2023, there are 300 joint ventures. There are 263 enterprises operating in Uzbekistan (in 2016 - 49, an increase of 5.3 times) with Kyrgyz capital, of which 128 are joint ventures, and 135 are Kyrgyz. There are 70 companies in Kyrgyzstan with the participation of residents of Uzbekistan (of which 22 are joint).
