Tashkent, June 9, 2021. / Kabar /. At the initiative of the Egyptian side, a meeting was held between Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Ibragim Zhunusov and Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Uzbekistan Amir Fahmi, the press service of the Kyrgyz diplomatic mission in Tashkent reported.
The meeting discussed the issue of Egypt's entry as a dialogue partner into the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Along with this, an exchange of views on cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Egypt took place, as well as the forthcoming visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt S. Shurki to Kyrgyzstan was discussed.
In particular, Amira Fahmi noted that the visit of the Egyptian Foreign Minister will take place as the epidemiological situation stabilizes.
