Bishkek, Apr.2, 2020. /Kabar/. One of public associations donated to Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan ventilator, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus said.
An artificial lung worth $ 23 thousand has been installed in the intensive care department of Batken Oblast Hospital.
According to doctors, the hospital has 9 such units, and modern equipment installed has made a huge contribution to strengthening the material and technical base of the hospital.
In addition, 30 sets of protective equipment for physicians worth KGS 150 thousand were handed over, and food and hygiene supplies worth KGS 400 were transferred to 106 families living in the social town.
As of Apr.1, 2020 111 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Kyrgyzstan.
