Public Prosecutor's Office to check MP Tekebayev’s statement about Atambayev’s property in Cyprus

Bishkek, Feb. 13 / Kabar /. President Almazbek Atambayev instructed Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Indira Dzholdubaeva to check the statement of leader of Ata-Meken faction, MP Omurbek Tekebaev, published by some media, about the materials reportedly found by him in Cyprus on the property of President Atambayev. He also assigned to take all measures provided by the legislation, the President’s press service reports.

The Public Prosecutor's Office should inform the President and the public on the results of the checking.

On February 13, Tekebayev said in Bishkek during the forum that he found information about Atambayev’s property in offshore of Cyprus.
