Bishkek, Aug. 10, 2020. /Kabar/. The movement of regional and long-distance public transport is allowed in Batken Oblast in accordance with all sanitary and epidemiological rules and requirements, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said Monday.
The decision was taken by the oblast’s operational headquarters to combat coronavirus infection.
"Head of the road transport agency has been instructed to carry out explanatory work with drivers and passengers on compliance with sanitary standards in public transport, to ensure regular disinfection of vehicles and conduct regular raids on their work," the report says.
Inter-regional public transport is not yet allowed.
