Bishkek, May 9, 2020 / Kabar/. The public transport will resume work in Kyrgyzstan on May 11.
Deputy Minister of Health of the country Nurbolot Usenbaev told that in public transports seats for passengers will be limited.
He noted that from May 11, the population will be able to use the services of public transport, for this special sanitary rules and requirements have been developed.
Usenbaev said that there will be organized disinfection measures, driver control, that is, limited passengers on seats and for transportation by taxi.
“Our inspectors will strictly monitor the transportation,” he said.
A state of emergency was imposed in Kyrgyzstan’s several cities and regions in connection with the COVID-19 epidemic until May 10. The government has already developed a procedure for resuming economic activity in the country in 3 stages, the first stage came into effect on May 1.
Kyrgyzstan on Saturday reported 25 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 931.
