Publishing houses hand over books to children of Pamir Kyrgyz

Bishkek, Jan.24, 2020. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan hosted the ceremony of handing over textbooks for ethnic Kyrgyz children who moved from the Pamirs to Alai region of Osh Oblast.

According to the ministry's press service, the children are currently studying at one of the schools in Osh Oblast.

Arkus and Kutaalam publishing houses have handed over mathematics, Kyrgyz fairy tales, homeland studies textbooks in the total amount of 300 copies.

Note that at the end of December 2019, 10 Pamir Kyrgyz families have arrived from Afghanistan in Sary-Mogol village, Alay region, Osh Oblast. All of them received the necessary assistance.
