Bishkek, Oct. 5, 2018. / Kabar /. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin stressed the role of Chyngyz Aitmatov in the world arena.
Putin’s message at the opening of the III International Issyk-Kul Forum "Chyngyz Aitmatov and the Challenges of Modernity" was read by Ambassador of Russia to Kyrgyzstan Andrei Krutko.
“Chyngyz Torokulovich’s rich spiritual heritage remains in demand throughout the world. His wise thoughts, high humanistic values, which he defended all his life continue to inspire people and serve as a guide,” the message of Russian leader said.
In addition, it was indicated that the agenda of the Forum expected discussions on topical issues of promoting intertraditional and interfaith dialogue, as well as ways to counter religious and political extremism, protection of human rights and development of education.
The President stressed that these topics are of particular relevance today, and the opinions of the participants in the dialogue on the international platform can create prerequisites for solving global problems.
“Interesting and informative discussions await you, and initiatives and ideas put forward at the forum will undoubtedly serve and draw the attention of the world community,” Putin said.
At the end of his speech, he wished everyone fruitful work, expressing faith in the further development of voiced opinions.
