Putin congratulates Jeenbekov and people of Kyrgyzstan on 74th anniversary of victory

Bishkek, May 9, 2019. / Kabar /. President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and the people of Kyrgyzstan on the 74th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.

“I heartily congratulate you and all the people of Kyrgyzstan on the 74th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. On this momentous day, we are boundlessly recalling the exploits of our fathers and grandfathers, who fought bravely against the fascist invaders at the front and selflessly laboring in the rear in the name of common Victory. I am convinced that the traditions of friendship and mutual assistance, hardened during the days of military trials, will continue to promote the development of Kyrgyz-Russian relations in the spirit of alliance and strategic partnership,” says in the Russian President’s message.

Vladimir Putin conveyed to all veterans living in Kyrgyzstan words of sincere appreciation and respect, wished them good health, well-being and success, and the people of Kyrgyzstan - peace and prosperity.
