Bishkek, Mar. 27, 2019. /Kabar/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Bishkek twice this year as part of the SCO and CSTO summits to be held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan on June 13-14 and November 28, respectively, Aide to the President Yury Ushakov told journalists.
Putin’s state visit to Bishkek is to take place on March 28, RIA Novosti reported.
"A very important topic that will be discussed during the visit is ... the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan, as it turned out, both in the SCO and in the CSTO, that is, in two organizations. We are providing both technical, and organizational, and political assistance to the Kyrgyz people in terms of preparing for the summits to be held in Bishkek, on June 13-14 – the SCO, on November 28 – the CSTO, respectively,” he said.
“It just so happens that apart from this state visit (March 28), our President will visit Bishkek two more times in June and in November, respectively,” Ushakov clarified.
