Qatar Charity donates more than 140 wheelchairs for people with disabilities in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2018 / Kabar /. The Qatar Charity donated 142 wheelchairs for people with disabilities.

Minister of Social Development of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Kochkorov thanked for the help and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.

“Today, the Qatar Charity organization provided us with another assistance in the form of wheelchairs. These wheelchairs will be distributed to people with disabilities living in Osh and Jalal-Abad oblasts. I want to note that in June 2018 the Ministry received 100 wheelchairs, which were handed over to those in need in Bishkek, Chui and Issyk-Kul oblasts, ”Kochkorov said.

Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kyrgyz Republic Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Sulayti noted that the organization will continue to provide support and in the near future it is planned to build social facilities such as hospitals, medical stations, schools, as well as housing for low-income families.
