Qatar interested in supply of organic agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug. 14, 2021. / Kabar /. Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development of Kyrgyzstan Askarbek received on Friday Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kyrgyz Republic Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Saleh Al-Sulaiti.

Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Saleh my Al-Sulaiti handed over the minister an official invitation to the international exhibition "EXPO-2023", which will be held in Doha, Qatar in 2023-2024. He noted that the Ministry will coordinate the participation of Kyrgyzstan in this exhibition.

The ambassador of Qatar also expressed interest in exporting organic agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan.

“Kyrgyzstan has a sufficient volume of organic agricultural products for export to the State of Qatar, especially honey and meat,” said Askarbek Dzhanybekov.

In turn, the ambassador of Qatar expressed gratitude to the minister for the meeting, and also expressed the hope that cooperation in the future will reach a new level.
