Qatar to build additional building for 4th hospital in Bishkek

Bishkek, Aug. 13, 2024. / Kabar/. On August 12, Deputy Foreign Minister Avazbek Atakhanov met with Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kyrgyz Republic Ali Jabir Muhammad Al-Ghufran Al-Marri in Bishkek, at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side.

The Foreign Ministry said that during the meeting, issues on the agenda of Kyrgyz-Qatari cooperation were discussed, including the implementation of joint visits, as well as strengthening the political dialogue between the two countries.

Atakhanov emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in the field of economic diplomacy, which will intensify trade, economic and investment ties between the Kyrgyz Republic and the State of Qatar.

The deputy minister informed the Qatari side about the completion of the internal procedures by the Kyrgyz side and the issuance of the relevant order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on the implementation of the grant project for the construction of an additional building of the 4th Bishkek City Emergency Hospital, as well as the readiness of the Kyrgyz side to sign it.

In turn, Ambassador Al-Marri thanked Deputy Minister Atakhanov for the warm welcome, noting that he would make the necessary efforts to bring Kyrgyz-Qatari relations to a qualitatively new level.

The parties agreed to actively cooperate on the further development and strengthening of bilateral relations.
