Bishkek, March 21, 2020 / Kabar /. Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Kanybek Isakov met with Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kyrgyz Republic Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Sulaitini, the Ministry’s press service said.
During the meeting, Qatar’s Ambassador Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Sulaitini informed that the construction of the planned facilities will be completed by August 2020.
Currently, the Qatar Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic plans to build 9 schools, 2 kindergartens and 2 IT lyceums, and by the end of 2020, construction of 4 more schools will be completed.
The Minister of Education expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of Qatar for supporting the infrastructure of the education system of Kyrgyzstan and expressed interest in developing cooperation in this area.
In addition, the ambassador announced the possibility of providing budget places in Qatar universities in the specialties of IT, medicine.
