Bishkek, Aug. 29, 2017 / Kabar /. Qatar will consider the introduction of visa-free regime with Kyrgyzstan. This became known in Doha during the meeting of Kyrgyz Ambassador Nuran Niyazaliev to the State of Qatar with Ambassador Muhammad Abdullah Al-Subaei, director of Consular Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
During the meeting Ambassador Niyazaliev informed about the introduction of electronic visa system in Kyrgyzstan as part of Taza koom project which will allow foreigners to receive tourist and business visa through the internet. He also said that in connection with upcoming presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan, a polling station is established in Doha at the first time in history, where Kyrgyz people living in Qatar can vote. The Kyrgyz Ambassador informed about the upcoming celebration of the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan in Doha where all Kyrgyz citizens are invited. Noting the contribution of Kyrgyz people to Qatar economy, Ambassador Niyazaliev stressed the importance of considering the issue about the introduction of visa-free regime for Kyrgyz citizens, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA reported.
Muhammed Abdullah Al-Subaie congratulated Kyrgyz Diaspora with the upcoming Independence Day and wished successful vote in presidential elections in Doha on Oct. 15.
He told about introduction of visa-free regime for foreigners and assured that Qatar is ready carefully consider the request about the release of Kyrgyz citizens from the need to obtain a Qatar entry visa.
