The national hockey team of Kyrgyzstan defeated the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the qualifying round of the 2020 IIHF World Championship, which is taking place in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the official website of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) reported.
The game ended with the score of 3:14 in favor of the Kyrgyzstanis.
This is the second victory of the national team of the Kyrgyz Republic in the qualifying round. In their debut game, the Kyrgyz team defeated the Kuwaiti national team with the score of 14:0. In the second game, the national team of the Kyrgyz Republic defeated the Thai team with the score of 6:2.
Tomorrow, on April 4, the Kyrgyz team is to play againsts the Hong Kong team.
The IIHF World Championship is to be held in Zurich and Lausanne (Switzerland) from May 1 to May 17, 2020. In case of leaving the group, the national team of Kyrgyzstan will get the right to play in Division III.
