Bishkek, March 26, 2021 . / Kabar /. Quarantine will not be imposed in Bishkek for now, Deputy Mayor of the capital on social issues Aizhan Chynybaeva said at a briefing on Friday.
According to her, currently the City Headquarters is not considering the introduction of quarantine in the capital.
"Now we will monitor compliance with sanitary norms in public places, namely the wearing of masks, compliance with the rules of social distancing and the conduct of sanitary cleaning. Also, control will be strengthened control over the observance of these norms by business owners," she said.
In addition, Chynybayeva noted that in the case of deterioration of the epidemiological situation, the City HQ will consider the introduction of additional restrictive measures.
In turn, chief specialist of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Omarov noted that many entrepreneurs and citizens forgot about compliance with elementary sanitary rules.
"Thus, for the last year we checked 3 thousand 961 business entities and issued 607 protocols for violations. At present, raids on the observance of sanitary rules by business entities continue," he explained.
Recently, growth in number of coronavirus cases is observed across Kyrgyzstan, especially in Bishkek.
Thus, according to the latest report from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, out of 100 cases throughout Kyrgyzstan, 45 were revealed in Bishkek and 46 – in Chui Oblast.
