Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2020. /Kabar/. On Oct. 6 at about 3:30 a.m. eyewitnesses reported that protesters who oppose the results of the parliamentary elections broke through to the Parliament Building (the White House).
The video was published in social networks. The protest action against the results of the parliamentary elections has begun Monday on the central square of Bishkek at about 12 a.m. local time. The participants of the action - leaders of the losing parties demanded to annul the voting results of the parliamentary elections.
According to the press service of the country's Interior Ministry, "the protest action participants and its organizers tried to disrupt public order and block the traffic on Chui Avenue. Then they aggressively began moving along Chui Avenue and tried to break the iron gate surrounding the Parliament building. They threw stones and tried to pass through the gate".
The data of the Health Ministry say that as of 12:00 p.m., a total of 122 people injured during the protests have been hospitalized.
According to preliminary data, as a result of the elections held on Sunday, 5 parties surpassed the 7 percent threshold to receive seats in the country's parliament. The rest 11 parties demand to annul the election results.
