Bishkek, Feb. 7, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Ratification of the Financing Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Development Association (Heat Supply Improvement Project), signed on January 26, 2018 in Bishkek, the press service of the President’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The law was adopted by the Parliament on January 23, 2019.
Under this Agreement, for the implementation of the Heat Supply Improvement Project, the International Development Association will support the Kyrgyz Republic by providing a loan in the amount of $ 23 million with an interest rate of 0.75% for a period of 38 years, including a grace period of 6 years, as well as grant funds in the amount of $ 23 million.
The law comes into force ten days after the date of official publication.
