Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2019. /Kabar/. Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jenish Razakov took part in a regular meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission in Moscow (Russian Federation), the press service of the Kyrgyz Government Office reported.
The event was chaired by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan with the participation of First Deputy Prime Minister – Finance Minister of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybaev and Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan.
During the meeting, 24 issues were discussed regarding deepening of integration within the EAEU, development of trade, customs and technical regulation, application of sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary measures.
One of the important issues was the report of the customs services of Russia and Kazakhstan on the results of the experiment on monitoring road transit traffic using navigation seals. After discussing the issue, it was decided to study the results of the experiment and work out the question of developing uniform requirements for navigation seals within the EAEU.
In addition, prospective integration projects, selection criteria for investment projects, as well as the issue of introducing changes to the Unified Quarantine Phytosanitary Requirements for quarantine products and objects at the customs border and the territory of the EAEU were considered.
Moreover, the meeting participants approved the draft Agreement on the procedure and conditions for the elimination of technical barriers in mutual trade with third countries and reviewed the draft Agreement on the exchange of information on goods and vehicles for international vehicles moving across the customs borders of the EAEU and China.
Following the meeting of the EEC Council, draft amendments to a number of regulatory documents, as well as a draft decision of the EEC Council on setting the import customs duty rate of the Unified Customs Tariff of the EAEU for certain types of graphite electrodes were approved.
At the same time, the EEC Council determined the composition, structure, format, frequency and procedure for providing information on the movement of goods and vehicles across the customs border of the EAEU.
